Because of God’s kindness in bringing good out of difficult, painful and desperate situations, people easily assume that such trials are His normal means of making people better.
Sin, sickness and torment are the very things God laid upon Jesus that He might lift them from us. Was Jesus interfering with all the good the Father might do by removing these horrible elements from their lives?
God so loves people that He extends goodness to those who call to Him even in their deepest troubles. But He does not set up troubles for His children so He might mount a white horse to come rescue them. That kind of 'goodness' sounds more like cruelty. Such thoughts are neither honorable, nor true.
