When you come into the kingdom and are baptized with dunamis (Holy Spirit's Power) from on high you're essentially given a bazooka, a tank, and RPG launcher - a fearsome, devastating arsenal. The rest of the Bible guides us in the proper use of such amazing power. It explains how to develop appropriate character and discernment to use it responsibly. The Bible insists that we be surrendered to the authority of Christ the King in whose Name the Father sent the Holy Spirit to abide in us
You don't need to spend years learning how to build an assault rifle by taking courses in engineering and metallurgy and the like. Someone hands it to you and shows you a couple of tips, and bam! you're good to go. Nor must you wait to operate in the power of God. You've already joined the Lord. He's clearly shown and told you what He loves to to. So go use His power, today.
If you've just received this supernatural life and been filled with the 'dynamite' of the unconquerable Spirit of God, it's best to join with likeminded brothers and sisters who've walked in this realm for awhile. You will likely hear caution, warning and minimizing of your empowerment by that same power that raised Christ from the dead. So much religious energy is spent trying to justify not using it, or to warn and frighten against the miss use of it, that many believers walk around uncertain and afraid of what has actually been placed within us. Way too much attention is focussed on magnifying the power of the enemy, as well.
Is the power and wisdom and goodness of God not more able to keep us on His path of righteousness, than the devil has power to deceive us?
