It is not that we engage our faith in the fact that God is able to make and keep a promise.

Our faith actuates,
grabs hold of,
puts in motion,
takes in the very substance God’s promise swears to give.

‘Promise’ means just that - the absolute certainty that God does what His own oath pledges. It does not mean merely that God ‘can’ do. But that He ‘will’ do.
