Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will surely overcome it.”
But the men who had gone up with him said, “ We are not able to go up against the people, for they are too strong for us." Numbers 13:30-31
We are safe and comfortable men who will remain desert dwellers all our lives. Unless we repent and vehemently pursue the promises of God with a faith that enters, occupies, establishes, and advances His expressed purposes.
Is it not yet clear that the style and measure of faith we have hitherto practiced has placed us where our feet now stand? And, that God's declared promises are not served to us in our living rooms, nor ever apprehended by men who esteem mere knowledge about them above their possession?
I hate that I have been such a man and do not wish to associate with him or his ilk any longer.
