The gifts, blessings, and treasures that we enjoy have come from God to us on a natural plane. They have so satisfied us that we’ve allowed them to curtail our passion for the treasures of the Spirit:

You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ps 16:11

These natural gifts and graces are given us that we might taste and see God’s great goodness - to entice us to intimacy.

His promises make that possible. Believing and entering them unites us with his desires and purposes - to be co-heirs with Him in our dreams and aims, as we are in His.
