How fearsome that
the Lord our God is in our midst as a mighty warrior

and yet . . .

How wonderful that He's the
mighty warrior . . . who saves.

How fearsome that Jesus declared,
I have the keys of death and of Hades.

and yet . . .

How wonderful that He is the Prince of Life who further declares . . .
Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.

How fearsome that
our God is a consuming fire.

and yet . . .

How wonderful that He is
The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth.
The Father of mercies and God of all comfort.
