The promises of God are YES and AMEN!
For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. 2 Cor 1:20
God’s promises are not future intentions; they are sworn declarations of existing realities. They are substances awaiting consummation – the imminent incarnation of living words.
When God revealed His Name Jehovah-rapha, I am the Lord, your healer. Ex 15:26b He makes a promise. He swears an oath to heal. In Jesus’ atonement, that oath was physically, spiritually and universally accomplished and manifested in time and space. for by His wounds you were healed. 1 Pet. 2:24b
Healing through Christ is accomplished for all men for all time.
The question should never be, ‘is it always God’s will to heal?’ It seems a silly question. It’s like asking, ‘will every human be raised from physical death?’ Jesus conquered death. Period. Everyone will rise. The debate is, in what condition, and to what end will they rise?
Jesus accomplished healing. Period. The only question we are considering is, ‘will every human for whom healing has been purchased appropriate healing?’
When we ask, ‘how comes God doesn’t heal everyone?’ we imply that God is choosing to withhold something He’s purchased and sworn to provide. We’re then obliged to make up doctrines to accommodate such questions.
