I got a feevah! And the only cure is more Kingdom of God – the presence and power of Jesus Christ – right here, right now.

Some folks say we only get a piece of the pie here on earth; a mere fork full of glory. But, O boy! When we get to heaven, then the floodgates will open. Look out, then!
They refer to the verse in 2nd Corinthians 5:5, where the word ‘earnest’, ‘pledge’, or ‘deposit’ is used. It sounds like a little pinch of something just to whet our appetites . . . a little taste of the ‘age to come’ with the fullness held in reserve.

Well, maybe I wouldn’t mind waiting so much if we had a pinch more of that pinch. You know, the pinch the 12, the 70, and the 120 got in the Gospels and Acts. ‘Cause with that pinch they healed the sick, raised the dead, cleansed lepers, cast out demons, and yes, they even turned the world upside down. I think Jesus called it the promise of the Father.

Yep, I got a feevah. I just need a pinch of what they got. I know I can bear waiting for the whole rest of the pie, if only the tiny piece I got works like I believe it oughta. Then I’ll be plain cured. I just know it.
