Jesus, the Perfect Offense

The perfect offense of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is here stated:

There exists no life (i.e., union with the one true Creator God), apart from the Gospel.

Every man must surrender his whole soul and his right to lordship of it.

Every man must repent (turn from) his old life.

Every man must confess his sin, rebellion, and need for forgiveness.

Every man must be born again into a new creation, the eternal life.

This Light has come and is offered to every person on earth.

There is no haggling or debate.

The one who dismisses or disregards this Gospel decides to remain personally accountable to eternal judgment for his evil and wrongdoing. He stands willfully condemned by the law of sin and death, and by his own conscience.

Most human beings are inwardly aware of this, yet are blinded by the lusts of the flesh, the pride of life, and the deluding spirit of the age.

Jesus is the perfect offense.

Jesus is the supreme Savior.

If there really were many ways to the Father of all the Living, if righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit was elsewhere available, He could have spared His own life by declaring it.

His declaration was emphatic, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father (God) except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.” John 14:6-7

“I am the good shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15

The spirit of the world, the flesh and the devil - that spirit in every natural man - physically murdered Christ on the cross at Golgotha (place of the scull) outside Jerusalem, long ago.

Today, every natural man offended in Jesus Christ, makes a Golgotha of his own heart.
