It's Monday, May 18, 2015 . . .
Let’s read the Gospel as though we never heard of it before.
Let’s take it to mean just what it says.
Let’s believe God knows how to communicate clearly to us. That He knows what we are capable of believing and simply expects us to do so.
Let’s believe and obey what we are told in the Gospels, no matter how far the church, our culture, or we ourselves may presently seem from it. Or, no matter what we’ve learned or what men may say that is contrary to it.
Our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus, calls us to a most vital task: Believe Me. If you love Me, you will do what I say.
If we’ve failed, let’s begin again. God, Himself, will help us. Let’s keep it simple . . . and do it His way.
