As Calvary Church and Waters Edge Community Church has become a new fellowship in Christ, I was considering the significance of our new name: Light of Life. It's deep and rich and bright with hope.
If you're inclined, read the scriptures below, especially in their context from the verse references given. I'm sure your meditations will be meaningful.
From the following scripture I compiled numerous phrases and fed them into Wordle (a word cloud generator) to produce theses images. I can't seem to decide which one I like better. So #1 is here at the beginning, and #2 is at the end. I'd be glad to know your preference.

Luke 1:76-79
“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High;
For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways;
To give to His people the knowledge of salvation
By the forgiveness of their sins,
Because of the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us,
To shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Jesus: Life. Jesus: Light. Jesus: Light of Life.
