When ever did an epidemic become its own proof for being a legitimate and acceptable experience. Just because sickness so commonly occurs is no evidence that God is OK with it, or that it should be tolerated.

God hates disease. Many people don’t believe that. Maybe that’s due to our seeming helplessness in addressing it? Or, our refusal to believe and employ by faith that weapon which Jesus implicitly gave to His followers:

And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction . . . Freely you received, freely give. Mt. 10:1&8

If God gives you a gun to shoot your enemy, but you believe God may have sent that enemy, you’ll never learn to fire your weapon.

Disease and affliction are not your friends.
