God’s looking for adventure.

And you are His access to the world. Through you He explores, discovers, handles and tastes His creation.

You give Him a perspective, an avenue and an influence like no other creature in existence.

Only you can interface and impact the people who share this planet with your distinct and perfectly peculiar manner.

God cannot experience the world through anyone else quite like through you.

You are created this way on purpose. God has chosen His own adventure. You.

You are God’s transformer. He has intentionally determined that His agenda be embraced, managed and administered by you.

Kind of like when the Spirit speaking through Paul said, God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. And when Jesus told us, Just as the Father has sent me, I’m now sending you.

Though God is omniscient and omnipotent, He’s yet determined that none but you can offer Him a more pleasing adventure than what He purposefully designed, qualified and destined you to bring.

Not that we are something in ourselves. I might say we are ‘beyond something!’ - in that our fullest significance is realized by our yielded union and cooperation with the Holy Spirit’s immediate and empowering presence.

We might wonder why the all-wise Creator made things this way. Why pick an adventure that allows so much of His own plans and pleasures to depend on His children? Don’t good earthly mommies and daddies do the same?

My guess is that our great Father’s thoughts about us, dreams for us, and His delight in us far exceed what we’ve imagined.

Regardless, He’s sticking to His plan.

Here you thought all along God was your adventure, and now you find that you are His.
