Promises made to us . . .
Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. Jn 14:13, 14

And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord. Isa 54:16

Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Mk 11:23

For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. 2 Cor 1:20
Now What?
God is presently (actively) living and working inside you: for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Phil 2:13
Now What?
In just the same way God sent Jesus into the world, Jesus sends you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you. Jn 20:21b
Now What?
This moment you carry inside you the Treasure of God’s presence and power. But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 2 Cor 4:7

For truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Mt 17:20

Now What?
Men would call such promises, hyperbole. No. It’s God just getting started. He’s merely using our language to hint at what is inexpressible in its mystery, magnitude and glory.
Did Jesus promise too much? Or, do His followers believe too little? It’s a matter each one of us must decide. It will determine how you answer that relentless question . . . Now What?
