There are two realities. Both are ‘true’.
One is the reality of appearance. This is limited and distorted by man’s perception and knowledge. It’s ‘real’ but . . .
The other reality is the revelation of the almighty; all-wise God who designed and created all that exists. Jesus, the Son, perfectly explained, displayed, and modeled what God means, who He is, what He wants, and how things are. He communicates these mysteries (realities) by the very Spirit of His Life – eternal wisdom from above.
When you adopt and believe man’s ‘reality’ you necessarily subjugate God’s.
The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile. Ps. 94:11
When you esteem God’s reality you are not denying what men see, you merely choose, affirm and apprehend the superior reality. This alone enables you by faith to unite with the Spirit of God in His reality, and with God, to call that which is not as though it were.
And without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb. 11:6a
