The daddy tells his boy he will take him this weekend to Hershey Park. The boy loses sleep with delight each night he thinks about going.
Once they walk through the gate at Hershey Park the question arises. 'What got them into Hershey Park? Was it the little boy's believing, or was it the daddy's intention?
Did the boy's faith in what his daddy said bring them to the park? Or, was it the intention of the father to do what he said?
Did the words themselves get them to the park? Or, were Daddy's words an announcement, a setting in motion, what he had already resolved to do?
Without the will to do and the intent to perform, what would be the point of speaking words?
Seeing his father's intention and words as inseparable, the boy's heart simply cashed in his daddy's words for exhilaration and joyful certainty. He started riding the Comet long before the weekend.
