For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Gal 5:1
Typically, when you hear Christians talk about their freedom in Christ it's in the context of how far they may indulge the world and still remain in the faith. I don’t think Paul embraced that perspective when he stated, For me, to live is Christ . . . Phil 1:18
Do you hear of many Christians who relish their freedom in Christ and employ it to obtain promises and apprehend revelations to do exploits in the Holy Spirit?
Do they use this boundless freedom to press into God’s heart to obtain answers to prayer? To destroy the strongholds of the devil? To lift someone in despair to a place of courage?
Does your freedom compel you to let your light shine before men that they might honor our Heavenly Father and the Radiant Son?
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Gal 5:13
