The Bible is either true or a lie.
Believe it or disbelieve it as it is, not as you guess it is.
If it’s true, it’s a very big deal. If it’s not true then it is reprehensible and as futile as every other thought of man. The Bible does not demand to be tolerated, but obeyed or rejected.
If you don’t know what it says, bother yourself to learn it before you make a decision so grave.
It promises to those who believe an incalculably great reward; to the unbelieving or willfully ignorant, a permanently horrific outcome.
Accept or reject it from the deepest, most honest assessment of its words, and the humblest pursuit of truth. Consider the Book on its own terms.
Many who say they believe the Bible do not follow its instructions. Truth must be practiced to be proved.
That men have poorly represented the Bible’s claims does not invalidate them. Nor does it excuse your own responsibility to address them.
The Bible purports to explain and direct all men from a present and permanent death, to a new and never-ending life.
For matters this significant, demote hearsay. Be honorable. Be diligent. Earnestly inquire. Search it out for yourself.
