The kingdom that Jesus brought, was it subject or superior to natural laws?
Do you believe in His kingdom? Are you a citizen? Each person displays the characteristics of the kingdom to which his affections and loyalties are most tethered.
Many Christians say we live in a fallen world and there are many conditions that we must bear. They give them names like cancer, tumors, arthritis, scoliosis, depression, schizophrenia, and many, many others. We name them as though, being in a fallen world, such conditions are inevitable. As though such conditions have established an entrenched resistance to the power and word of the Great Physician.
But Jesus entered this fallen world. He walked on water, fed multitudes with a handful of loaves and fishes, took money from the mouth of a fish to pay taxes, turned water into wine, made dead people raise up, lame people walk, mute people speak. He did all that fit the kingdom He brought. No excuse of a fallen world, a devil too big, a difficulty too great, stood in the way of His releasing Heaven to Earth.
Is it mean to ask another person the name of the kingdom they represent? What would be your answer to such a question?
