You stir us to courage that You might unite with us.

You blow upon our affections that You might draw into us.

You call us to shout, to dance and rejoice that you might delight with us in victory.

You permit us trials and persecutions to show Yourself strong within us.

You direct us to give and forgive that You may lavish on us Your abundance and Your excessive pleasures.

You set us up for conquest.

You design our triumphs.

You hide Your treasures for us, not from us.

You started all this, that You may accomplish in us Your mysterious and kind intentions.
