Signs and Wonders
Jesus performed many miracles, signs and wonders right here in our physical, natural world. He claimed that all He did was at the directive of the unseen God, by the power of the Holy Spirit. That reality is not easy to grasp without revelation.
If you count that which is unseen as superior to what is reasonable, naturally . . .
Or, Should I Look Elsewhere?
When a sick or tormented man sends his best friend to inquire of us, "Are you the sons of God, the servants of Jesus Christ, or should I look for someone else?"
We should look that man squarely in the eyes and without flinching say, "Go tell your friend that here, it is increasingly common that the blind see, the lame . . .
Why We Live
Jesus addresses us squarely:
You shall be My witnesses.
Your life is not your own - you are the weapon of My warfare, the implement of My righteousness.
My directive is such: forsake your life for your own sake; surrender/enlist it for Mine.
Love not your own life unto death. Wholly and happily employ it to declare . . .
All the Way Up to Zero
If I were the devil I'd want you so focused, so consumed with fighting off sexual temptations, inappropriate desires and ungodly conversations. While significant, because I'm such a good liar, I would concede to you that such resistance is the real battle and highly beneficial.
