Acceptable Outcomes
The only acceptable outcomes from my prayers, my commands, my declarations and my actions, are those that would result from Jesus doing those very things.
Is He in me, or no?
Is He for me, or no?
Is it the Father's good pleasure to give me His Spirit, or no?

The Devil's Taunt
Merely killing an enemy is not the terrorist’s aim. But to expose and ravage the will of their relatives, friends and compatriots with such horror and dread, that surrender is foregone - for their cowering hearts cannot muster a reprisal.
No, killing is too easy. He ties the feet of the parents, and chains their hands to the wall. He . . .
Whose Business?
How long, O brothers and sisters will the immense mercy and loving raw power of God in Christ be restrained, held in check, dismissed, and yes, even denied? So they flat out ask Him, ‘could you teach us how to pray?’
‘Sure,’ Jesus said.
