The natural man deduces and then produces. He employs his gifts to dig, gather, perceive and analyze. Then, he attempts to reproduce what seems right. He does the best he can.

Fearsome, Yet Wonderful
How fearsome that
the Lord our God is in our midst as a mighty warrior
and yet . . .
How wonderful that He's the
mighty warrior . . . who saves.
How fearsome that Jesus declared,
I have the keys of death and of Hades.
and yet . . .
How wonderful that He is the Prince of Life . . .
Cajoling the Lavish One
Do we really need to cry, stamp, and cajole, to get God to notice us? He already told us He is the One who:
- rides across the heavens in His majesty, on the clouds to our help
- sent the Holy Spirit to abide in us, to be our Counselor
- rejoices over us with shouts of joy
- delivered us from the domain of darkness and

Working Out This Gospel
