The Way
Directions and Destination
Jesus declares Himself, the Way. He explains that partly in Jn. 14:24b by saying: He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
Are we not supposed to have the same relationship with Jesus as He had with the Father? I realize I’m stating the obvious by noting . . .
Pursuit of Desire
To pursue our paramount desire of joyous union with our Father and Savior, necessarily, all extras will fall off. Earthly raiments and riches, prestige and fleeting honors will seem as dung. We will stand having apprehended our Apprehendor - having attained the desire of our soul. We will appear on the earth as naked, having no outward . . .
The Works Themselves
Numerous times Jesus insists that while He speaks the truth about the Kingdom of God to the disciples, the Pharisees, or the multitudes, he does not hold them to account based only on His words. This is clearly expressed in these statements:
If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me: but if I do them, though you do not . . .

Ladies and gentlemen, if you declare and hold fast to the word of God over what you see, what you hear and over your natural contrary reasoning, you are not denying reality. After Jesus prevailed over the devil in the wilderness, He returned in the Power of the Spirit. Henceforth He bore witness to the Father in Heaven by proclaiming words and performing works that corresponded to that Kingdom.
